About the author
Marie J. Elliot is a first-generation Asian Indian immigrant, a tech leader in Silicon Valley, and a mother to two adult children. Marie also has firsthand experience raising a neurodivergent child through adulthood. Marie has lived the journey day in and day out raising a child who was different and did not "fit" into the Asian stereotype. Through her faith and perseverance, her son is an accomplished, working graduate. Marie loves taking the time to enjoy life's simple pleasures like walking, reading, learning to play guitar, dancing, and listening to music.
