This is a visually stunning book about over 170 species of birds found in the USA and especially Texas, with over 400 images photographed by the author. Many of them are ones commonly encountered if you are or want to become a bird hobbyist. There are also some landscapes and a little general information about photography. There are also a few birds from Costa Rica and India.  A staggering 30% of birds and 69% of animals have decreased in the wild over the last 50 years.
