About the author

Rebecca Huston is a former girl-without-a-dog-of-her-own, she had to hug and play with the dogs of aunts and uncles and kids in the neighborhood. After she grew up and could do whatever she wanted without asking anyone’s permission, she got a dog of her own and named her Echo. Rebecca’s first kids’ book is based on an experience with Echo called My Dog Echo is Lost. Now she lives in Central Ohio with two dogs ( Ruby and Davey), one cat (Blackjack) and one horse named Streak. She is at work on a series of children’s stories that feature Echo. She also writes adult fiction, poetry, memoir and an occasional freelance article.
