My ABC "Chair" Book (Revised)

MY ABC "CHAIR" BOOK is a pictorial early learning book for young children. Each alphabet is represented by chair designs from the author's Guinness World Record collection of 3,000 miniature chairs, (not doll furniture). This collection, with chairs from A - Z, provides a unique learning opportunity, "Chairs with a different purpose:Not for sitting. " The first alphabet naming the chair's category is enlarged and colored, to highlight that specific alphabet. Some of the selected chair designs includes: lamps, clocks, teapots, bookend, cookie jars, flower pots, inkwells, sewing, salt/pepper shakers, jewelry, banks, photo frames, candle holders, animals, beach, musicals, all major hoildays, and much more. The chair lengths ranges from 3 to 24 inches, with a wide array of material. This stimulating book can expand early language development and provide both education and entertainment for young readers.

The author has collected miniature chairs for over thirty years. She has been featured in newspapers, magazines, books, TV and PBS radio interviews. The chairs are exhibited within her miniature chair museum, Collectible & Antique Chair Gallery. She maintains membership with the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, the Author's Guild, Georgia Association of Museums, and the Small Museum Association.
