After her best friend is brutally murdered, her promise to avenge her death leads her on a dangerous journey.
Description
Ruby Harrison moves to Arizona to finish college after a divorce that left her heartbroken. Like the men in her family, Ruby pursues a career in Law Enforcement, becoming a police officer with the Phoenix PD. She finds her Grandfather living on the Hopi Reservation and falls in love with the canyons, the culture and learning how to ride and care for the sheep. When her best friend Edy meets a ranch hand and quickly marries him, Ruby's intuition tells her that Edy is in danger. After Edy's murder, Ruby is shocked to be charged with her murder, but promises to hunt down the suspect and avenge her death.
About the author
This is Robin Watt’s first published story. She currently lives and works in Tampa, Florida after living in California for 20 years. In her California life, she traveled the western states on business, working and meeting with State and county Correctional officers, local Sheriff’s and Native American Tribal officials regarding the construction of jail and prison facilities. Although not in law enforcement, she is happily married to a police officer.
