What is your most treasured possession? -My hard drive.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue? -Religion.

Who/What is the greatest love of your life? -Sleep.

On what occasion do you lie? -When someone asks, "How are you?"

What do you dislike most about your appearance? -Aging, or my "crazy eyes" unintentionally imitating Uzo Aduba from Orange is the New Black. 

What is your current state of mind? -Curious, always curious.

What is your most marked characteristic? -My laugh.

What is your greatest extravagance? -Books!

What trait do you most deplore in others? -Rudeness.

What trait do you most deplore in yourself? -Doubt.

What are your favorite names? -Cora, Phoenix, Vivien, Ezra, Elijah, Xavier, Diaz, Santiago - what's funny is I don't personally know anyone with these names.

Which living person do you most admire? -So many! But currently, Chelsea Devantez because she's making money off of reading and reviewing biographies on her Glamorous Trash podcast which is something I already do for free (slash fun) on my BookBub account. And Tracee Ellis Ross because her joy seems infectious.

What is your idea of perfect happiness? -Alone? A free day at the spa or reading in the sunlight. With people? Playing board games or shooting the sh!t on a patio.

If you could change one thing about your family, what would it be? -If taking this as the family I was born into and not the family I birthed, I'll be lame and say have more pictures taken together. I'd love to interview them individually too, since I barely know their surface story.

What would you regard as your lowest depth of misery? -My two children disowning me, hands down.  

Which talent would you most like to have? -To understand the stock market...or heck, math in general.

What is your motto? -It's all about perspective. 

Which words or phrases do you overuse? -In writing, I use "haha" a lot. Not only does it give tone to what I'm saying, but I'm usually finding humor in most things. Verbally, I constantly say, "Get it together!" It's applicable in multiple scenarios: yelling it to other drivers in a fit of road rage, thinking it to myself when I make a mistake...the possibilities are endless!

Where would you most like to live? -Somewhere with more sunny days than not. I thrive on sunshine. And where eccentric people are celebrated, not persecuted. I tend to gravitate towards the outcasts. 

What do you consider your greatest achievement? -Never being in debt.

What is your greatest fear? -Hearing or vision loss.

What/Where is your favorite journey? -The one that leads me to ice cream in the summer, Gajar Halwa in the winter, apple crisp in the fall, and strawberry shortcake in the spring. My journey must include dessert. Pssh.

What quality do you most like in a man? -Intelligence.

What quality do you most like in a woman? -Sense of humor, especially if it's dark or raunchy humor.

Who are your favorite authors? -I mostly read autobiographies, so it's kinda hard to pick a favorite, ya know?

What do you value most in your friends? -They leave me a book review, haha (wink, wink).
