About The Author

Shawnee Morris is a 17-year-old artist, author, and illustrator. She lives in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas with her mother and grandmother in a 100-year-old rock cottage that she helped restore. Shawnee began weaving stories as a young child and drew characters to go with the stories. Her first book M.I.A. took 3 years to world build and very little time to write. Her first book was published when she was 16. She studied art privately with different art instructors and in high school. Shawnee is currently attending college for a degree in art.
