Overview
Meet My Mysteries: A Paranormal Memoir is a moving and amusing recounting of Kellie Warriner Doyle’s encounters with spirit guides, ghosts, God, and the unexplained. Having her first paranormal experience at the grand old age of two, an otherwise ordinary, middle-class girl goes on to experience a number of challenges in a life well-lived in settings ranging from the Pacific Northwest to the Deep South ... and a number of close encounters with things mystical, magical, and quite possibly holy. Sometimes frightened, sometimes thrilled, Kellie keeps searching for the meaning of it all through prayer, meditation, ghost hunting, psychic readings, and more. With a thoroughly contemporary yet reverential approach to exploring the mysteries of life, this memoir will touch a nerve in anyone who’s ever wondered whether everything really does happen for a reason.
Description
Kellie's memoir begins when she had her first encounter with the paranormal at the age of two. While not considering herself to have strong psychic abilities, she has, nonetheless, been both blessed and plagued with experiences she cannot always explain. These experiences have included both small and large events that have helped mold a view of the world that goes beyond the standard understanding of how things work. Kellie has seen ghosts, met her spirit guide, been administered to by angels, and has had several experiences with dreams and premonitions. As a Christian, Kellie has developed an open attitide about the spiritual realm and what it encompasses. She is the first to admit that she doesn't have all the answers, but certainly enjoys asking the important questions of life. This book explores the oddly normal with humor and insight. The author's desire in writing this book was to reach out to others with the hope of finding the commonality of the human experience.
About the author
Kellie Warriner Doyle has been writing all her life, but started to make serious strides about fifteen years ago. She began by writing screenplays and was a finalist in the American Screenwriters Association International Competition. She then moved into fiction writing, starting with a young adult novel and eventually finishing an historical novel. Her latest book is a paranormal memoir. As a writer, she doesn't limit herself to just one genre, but likes to write whatever interests her at any particular time, hence her moniker The Eclectic Author. Kellie lives in the lovely town of Culpeper, Virginia with her husband, Jim, and her Border Collie, Cogan.
