Overview

This is a children's book about two sisters affection and nurture of an injured pony.

Description

Jamie and Ali are twin sisters. They go to visit their grandparents at the farm. When they go to the barn they find a little newborn colt. They name him Love. Soon they find that Love has a foot injury that keeps him from running and playing with the other ponies. Jamie and Ali begin to nurture and care for the pony and nurse him back to health.

About the author

Jessica Simien Curl was born in 1982 in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Catholic schools during most of her early years of education. She holds a BA in Marketing & Communication from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She has worked for several major corporations including Allstate, Aviva, Cerner and Capella University. She is the Senior Stratgist ofMarketing & Communications-Manager at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Mo.
