Little Lambs Ponder the Proverbs

This book is the second in a series of four books about little lambs and the Shepherd who cares for them. There are eight stories, each one written to explain a verse in the book of Proverbs through the fun adventures of the little lambs. The stories are told in rhyming verse, with a full color picture to go with each verse. All the stories demonstrate the gentle love and care that the Savior has for His precious children. The target market for this book is children aged 4 - 12, and works well in a Sunday School setting.

I have been a born Christian for over forty years. I have taught or worked with children my entire adult life, and have taught Sunday School for over twenty years. I live with my wonderful husband of 29 years and have a daughter and grandson. I have a younger sister who did the illustrations for my books, and a twin sister who provided five grandchildren who are the name-sakes and inspiration for my characters. I also have an older brother who, along with his wife, has given me much prayer support. I love dogs, and walking in the woods with them. I also enjoy reading, gardening, and playing with my grandson. I started writing "The Little Lambs" series of books after heart surgery in 2001. I hope that my books will be a blessing to children (of all ages) and their families. I want to share the gentle love and wisdom of our "Good Shepherd", Jesus, through these stories. I hope that my readers will read the verse that each story is based on, and go back to it after reading the story, with a better understanding of what God is telling them in that verse.
