About the author
Michelangelo was born in Cairano (Avellino), Italy, and is a native Italian speaker who immigrated to the United States in the late 1950's.   Within a few months of his arrival, prior to which he did not speak a word of English, Michelangelo enrolled in college to pursue, and subsequently attain, his Engineering degree.  Following successful Engineering and Financial Planning careers, Michelangelo leveraged his bi-lingual fluency and love for languages and began teaching Italian.   It was then that he recognized the opportunity to propel students of the Italian language forward with a more comprehensive reference and instructional guide.
