Overview
Nope, keystone prairie dogs can’t run for president, but this compilation of anthropomorphic (giving human characteristics to animals and inanimate objects) commentary, with pictures from Jean Williams’ fifteen year collection as a prairie dog rescue steward does give us a satirical hint of their suspected political insights.
Description
This is the second in the three-part eBook series of jokes and parodies, but it will also include the “serious” message about the imperiled species, informative excerpts from scientists, how you can help, news and a list of important resources, which can be used as a prairie dog conservation guide. This series advocates for protection and conservation of all remaining prairie dog species in the wild and does not support having them sold or promoted as pets. Each booklet in the series has a “Keystones Don’t Always Make Good House Guests”, which highlights some of the challenges of prairie dogs in captivity.
