About the author
Amanda Strikwerda Layre was born in Philadelphia and moved to Bucks County Pennsylvania when she was a child. Amanda knew she was going to be an artist from a very young age. Drawing and painting imaginative images has always been how she expressed herself. Now as an adult, Amanda's mine still wanders off to those fun creative places of her childhood.
