Children ages 3-12 will especially enjoy this fun and enteraining book although all ages will be find the photographs interesting as well as beautiful. These photographs of MartyLou were set up and taken by the author. Although the story is about the fun that centers around many of the traditions surrounding Christmas that we all participate in, it ends on a more serious note- the important reason many celebrate the Christmas season- the birthday of Jesus! It is a short and simple little story that all ages will enjoy!
About the author
Jan Trabue is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a retired teacher for children with special needs. She is the co-author of ParentLeaders, a book to help parents improve their effectiveness by improving their leadership skills, the author of KidLeaders, a workbook for childen to improve their leadership skills, and author of The Outlook Book and Kaboom!. Both of these books have therapeutic value for children. Finally, she has authored Chuckles, a fun book of a collection of smile makers or memes, illustrated by a wild, white squirrel that she has enjoyed photographing.
