In this journey called life, we will experience disappointments, adversity, and setbacks; but this book can be used to navigate the journey and experience joy while doIng it. The book uses the Word of God as the foundation to discover there can be joy in the midst of various trials and tribulations.

Apostle Chris A. Esteves, Ph.D. is a New Orleans, Louisiana native. He moved to California in 1963 and lived in South Central Los Angeles throughout his childhood. After graduating high school, Dr. Esteves joined the United States Air Force and later attended USAF Community College in Shepherds, Texas, where he earned an Associate of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He continued his education at the American Technical Institute and DeVry University, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering accompanied by an FCC license with Radar Endorsement. In November of 1984, the Lord called Dr. Esteves to Ministry. He began his Ministerial education at Biola University. He finished his Ministerial education at Friends International University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies, a Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling, a Doctorate Degree in Biblical Studies, and a Ph.D. in Religious Studies. In January 1990, Dr. Esteves established Life Way Church where he has remained the Senior Pastor and now Apostle since its inception. As a King and Priest unto God, Dr. Esteves has been a spiritual leader for over 35 years and a businessman for over 30 years. Dr. Esteves helps churches and local organizations with building projects focused on strengthening the community. He has been instrumental in helping to eradicate hunger through various community programs. Dr. Esteves also has established and developed professional counseling services throughout the community. In 2018, Dr. Esteves launched Kings and Priests Inc. to allow kingdom-building individuals to multiply their impact by building on the 7 pillars of the Kingdom of God: Faith, Legacy, Education, Government, Information, the Arts, and Business. Dr. Esteves is a pillar in the community and continues to foster relationships with community and governmental leaders. In October of 2000, Life Way Church, under the direction of Dr. Esteves began purchasing and developing property in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and continues to do so today. Dr. Esteves' accomplishments and commitment to community advancement have earned him the respect of local communities and communities abroad who esteem him as a leader and visionary.
