JESSE ECHO

Mr. Goetz managed a career as a working actor for more than 60 years. Some of his favorite roles include: the father of the groom in the "Father Of The Bride" movies with Steve Martin;   Whoopi Goldberg's boss in "Jumpin' Jack Flash";  Dudley Moore's boss in "Best Defense";  Robin Williams' and Glenn Close's publisher in "The World According To Garp"; and Riley in "A Violent Separation", among others. He even transplanted a new heart the size of a pickup truck into King Kong in "King Kong Lives". On Broadway he played John Barrymore in the two character play "Ned and Jack" directed by Colleen Dewhurst. He also played opposite Miss Dewhurst in "The Queen and The Rebels". He performed in the original productions of "Brighton Beach Memoirs", "Beyond Therapy" and "Sex and Longing" among others. He has performed in several regional theaters throughout the country. He acted in nearly 100 productions at the Tyrone Guthrie Theatre and performed roles such as Willy Loman in "Death of a Salesman"  and James Tyrone in "Long Day's Journey into Night"  at the Washington Arena and the Abbey Theater in Dublin. Peter has also appeared in over 200 television shows including a regular on four series and Edith Wharten's "The Buccaneers" on Masterpiece Theater. He and his wife Connie have been married for 54 years and have two sons, Kevin and Michael and seven grandchildren.
