It's A Mystery

It's A Mystery is a book of stories of the mysteries of the rosary. It is not 'how-to' book. The illustrations are all original drawings. There were two requisites for the pictures. One, Mary should not be depicted as though she had never had a happy day in her life. Two, there should not be any blood. Bloody pictures might have scared the children.

The book has been met with overwhelmng success. Parents and Grandparents have purchased the book as gifts for Christmas and First Communions. The schools are using it to teach the story of the rosary. They usually read one mystery of a set followed by the ten Hail Marys each day . By the end of the week they have completed one whole set of the four sets of the mysteries. The rosary is a powerful prayer and one the Blessed Virgin Mary has asked us to pray .

Deanna lives with her husband, Bill, in Traverse City, Michigan. They have five children and five grandchildren. Deanna has been an administrator and taught in Catholic Schools for thirty plus years. She has also been an adjunct professor of English at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. Books and kids have been a big part of her life.
