About The Author

Elizabeth Peña (Lozada) has worked in the Texas public education system for 13 years and holds a Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification in Special Education and Spanish. As an educator and avid environmentalist, she firmly believes that the earlier children are exposed to the beautiful environment and animals that share this planet with us, the more they will value and appreciate the changes that must be made to save our planet and animal species from extinction. Elizabeth currently resides in San Angelo, Texas with her husband and dogs Scrappy and Gummy. This is her third book in the Arctic Babies Books series.
