Iran Through the Lens of Times (1934-1980)

This book contains articles published as cover stories about Iran in Time magazine from 1934 to 1980. Of the ten main articles, three are about Reza Shah, one is about Prime Minister Mossadegh, five are about Mohammad Reza Shah, and one is about Ayatollah Khomeini. In his footnotes to these articles, the translator has placed many of the unclear points in the article within its historical context and added explanations that help clarify the historical events of that period
