Overview
Inside and Out is a collections of "odes" I have written over the past few years. They are about people I know- family, friends, co-workers, pets, even a recipe or two. I wrote most of them when inspired by boredom- while I was being tortured on the stationary bike or in a boring class. (The instructors thought I was diligently taking notes!...)
Most of them are funny, some sarcastic, and some are sad- sometimes excruciatingly so. In the end, they are really about me and my struggles with life. They are real.
I hope when I am gone, people will read this and say, "Oh, I remember that! It was SO funny!" Or, "It is just like Terry is sitting right beside me telling her stories in her twisted quirky way..."
I hope you will get lots of laughs out of this. And cry, too, if you need to.
And I hope you will leave this book knowing you are not alone.
Description
It is also about my life. As you read this, you will begin to know me better. I try to be a kind person. But I don't always succeed. Unfortunately, because I strongly believe kindness is the most important personality trait to strive for.
