Inside and Out

By Terry Fisher

Overview

Inside and Out is a collections of "odes" I have written over the past few years. They are about people I know- family, friends, co-workers, pets, even a recipe or two. I wrote most of them when inspired by boredom- while I was being tortured on the stationary bike or in a boring class. (The instructors thought I was diligently taking notes!...)

Most of them are funny, some sarcastic, and some are sad- sometimes excruciatingly so. In the end, they are really about me and my struggles with life. They are real.

I hope when I am gone, people will read this and say, "Oh, I remember that! It was SO funny!" Or, "It is just like Terry is sitting right beside me telling her stories in her twisted quirky way..."

I hope you will get lots of laughs out of this. And cry, too, if you need to.

And I hope you will leave this book knowing you are not alone.

About The Author

Also the author of The International Students' Guide to Cooking without Getting Caught (1976) by Ashley Books, Inc., a book I wrote when I was in college about how to cook in a dorm room with just an iron, a thermos, and a hot pot. That was NOT my title! So embarrassing.... And I wrote Confessions of a Fearless Cook (2012) by Dog Ear Publishing. It is a collection of funny stories and amazing recipes.
