Michael Hendricks is a Houston, Texas native from the streets. The product of a drug-addicted mother who died tragically, he's turned his life of crime into a compelling three-part series that gets to the heart and soul of a man who has had a hard-knock life. Currently incarcerated, his books were handwritten in their entirety, mailed to his lawyer from prison, and painstakingly transcribed to be read by his audience straight from his pen. His words are authentic to urban life and his honesty is raw. He hopes to give voice to the underrepresented he has encountered and humanize the men and women that were a part of the gangsta life he knows all too well.
