About the author

Susan Dutch has been writing stories since she was a young girl, which eventually led her to a career as a journalist. Although many of her articles, columns, and blogs have been published in magazines, newspapers, and on various digital platforms, this is her first accomplishment as a book author. Using her treasured role as 'Nana' to seven grandchildren, along with her expertise in educational and digital marketing, she came up with the idea to create a book suitable for multiple age groups. While younger children can enjoy the story line and illustrations in her books, older children can use the camera of a mobile device to scan the QR code at the end of the story to learn more, adding a multi-level educational component to her stories. Susan and her husband, Bill divide their time between Upstate, New York and Naples, Florida.
