About the author

As a young girl, Anya's great passion was writing fun short rhyming stories. She believes that life is full of inspirations and a simple walk through a park can turn into an amazing adventure. Anya is a wife and a mother of a middle school girl. She teaches as a substitute at a local elementary school where the children inspire her to write entertaining yet educational rhyming stories. Anya loves riddles and rhymes and thinks that they really help to memorize a lot of information. She believes that our greatest gift is imagination. Anya brings inanimate objects to life. For example, in her book "Smiley, Happy Planet Earth", she personifies all four seasons of the year. She has always been amazed by teachers' creativity and hopes that her books could become another useful tool to educate children about our Planet, Solar System, Water Cycle, and many other interesting subjects.
