Larry Chambers is a national award winning artist and author who has written 50 published books and happens to be dyslexic and ADHD. Still his books found a home in some of the most prestiges publishers including Random House, Ivy Books, McGraw-Hill, Times Mirror, and John Wiley and Sons.
He is the recipient of the 2012 Ojai WordFest Award, recognizing outstanding literary talent in the Ojai area, a Gold medal winner in National VA Art Awards 2011.
Notable Literary Accomplishments: Barron’s (January 6, 2002) chose his Protect Your 401(k) as one of “Best Investment Books of 2002”. The First Time Investor named as one of the top five books in 2000 by Chuck Myers, Knight Ridder, Washington Bureau. Rupert Hughes Prose Writing Award finalist 2004. History Channel Special - 2001 wrote script Recondo the Deadliest School on Earth. Three of his books were specialty bestsellers and have found their way into book-of-the-month clubs. Cub Scout Commandos; sold in 2001 to MGM Motion Pictures.
Chambers has a Bachelor and Master of Science Degree from the University of Utah and member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. After college Larry joined the Wall Street firm, EF Hutton & Co., where he became a Blue Chip Producer and member of the Million Dollar Club. He is on the advisory board for the Journal of Investing; and served a term as Business and Economics columnist for the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Forum, and a contributing writer for the following magazines:
