Hidden Hills

Irish mythology mentions the Selkies as humans who are re-born as seal creatures and live in the sea. Ancient mariners called them mermaids, and told tales of being summoned by these lovely half women, who sang so beautifully, many a man responded to their call, never to be seen again.

Book two follows the Sidhe fairies in their struggles in the 21st century, when a Selkie who has assumed human form, seeks her former mate, now wed to Princess Shaylee. Queen Orrla is placed in a perilous position when the Selkie finds him and urges him to return to the sea with her.

The evil Goddess Morrigan decides to send her warrior son to aid the Selkie in obtaining the return of her mate. When her son is mortally injured, the Morrigan is so incensed, she beckons all of her powers to destroy the fairies and all who come to their aid.

Born in New York City, I spent most of my time writing stories and illustrating them. I always loved putting words to paper, and contributed to my High school newsletter, wrote and had a few poems published, and put my writing aside for a while while I raised my children. My first novel received a warm reception and I was so enthused I began a second, which led to a trilogy.
