Hero's Journey

Hero's Journey is a suspense-filled romance about a professional soccer player with a jaded past that puts the people he loves and his career in jeopardy. He spent his early life dealing with an abusive father, and eventually joining a gang. Throughout the story, Hero must be brave enough to face his past, and discover who he truly is outside of his unfortunate circumstances.

Hero is a young professional soccer player about to win the World Soccer Championship until he suffers a career altering physical injury during the game. This sudden career-altering injury causes Hero to have to face some dark parts of his past that he tried to suppress with the game of soccer. Throughout the book, Hero tries his hardest to keep his past a secret from the people around him. All those years of suppressing his dark past finally forces its way to the surface when Hero commits a criminal act, and everything comes crumbling down. Will Hero change his ways?
