Description

Helix is a turtle who has wheels instead of back legs. But it doesn't stop him from having fun! He wants to do the monkey bars, but he only swings a couple of times before he falls and breaks his wheels. Can his classmates come up with an idea that will get him back onto the bars? The third book in the Helix series teaches children to be kind and helpful toward those with special needs and physical limitations, while encouraging them to be confident, brave and determined. Inspired by the true story of Helix, a tortoise with wheels for back legs, the series explores social-emotional learning standards in language children can understand and stories they'll enjoy!
