Overview
Tori Napoli, the author of Jimmy’s Lawn Service, returns with Frankie and John, an x-rated love story. Tough-talking Frankie Aligheri has a problem—her kitchen needs remodeling. The New Jersey lawyer with the fearsome reputation frightens off all bidders except John Bates, an unfailingly polite and easy-going Carolina native. Bates falls in love with the beautiful Frankie at first sight. She is equally smitten with the handsome contractor, but both of them have strict personal rules about getting involved with clients. Frankie and John are increasingly attracted to each other, but maintain a principled distance until they meet at a party, where their relationship almost catches fire on the dance floor. The love train is derailed and crashes in the flames of fiery Frankie’s gigantic misunderstanding. Finally, the comical intervention of several friends brings hard-headed Frankie to her senses and sets up a passionate reconciliation. Warning: no vampires or werewolves, just a lot of human sex.

About the author
Tori Napoli is a woman of a certain age who awoke one day and said. “Enough. I’ve had an interesting life, and it’s time to share.” Names have been changed to protect the innocent, but innocence is not what she’s about. She transplanted herself to North Carolina, where the very molecules in the air encourage writing, and has vowed to go out with pen in hand, or rather, laptop on lap, which made her cats unhappy because that dratted machine has usurped their rightful place.
