After being told by doctors that he would not live to see thirty years old and that he would never be able to have children he decided to change. Richard begin using at home fitness programs to lose 242 pounds in only 18 months. Exercise was not the only thing that he had to change. Richard was an emotional eater and grew up all of his life taking comfort in foods. Being raised in the south and having a love for food was another obstacle that contributed to his addiction. Richard loved food! He wasn’t willing to give up the comfort that foods gave him but he had to understand the effects that they had on his body. Richard was determined to create his own foods that would aid in his transformation but still allow his passion for food to be explored. His recipes are simple and easy to make without sacrificing the flavors that we all love.
