Gerry Lee has worked at seven diverse universities and colleges, ranging from older and established, through newer research-oriented universities and teaching-oriented colleges. His roles in these institutions have included teaching and applied research, management and delivery of consulting and other services, as well as executive level positions.
Gerry has also worked for two international professional services and consulting firms as well as operating his own business—where he’s consulted to a broad range of corporate clients, from small businesses through government agencies and large transnational corporations. Consultancy assignments have included high-level strategy and organisational capability through to leadership and diverse consulting topics for managers, executives and board members.
In addition, Gerry has worked for two large NGOs, including in operations management where he had responsibility for multiple business divisions across several geographic locations.
Gerry’s initial degree qualification was in psychology, and was combined with a number of courses in math and statistics (including econometric math). His psychology honours thesis involved the use of sophisticated time series (Fourier) analysis for complex sets of behavioural and observational data.
Subsequent graduate qualifications were then in social science and business, specialising in leadership. Gerry also took several economics courses during both his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Around three years ago, Gerry decided to combine his long standing interest in economics and finance with his strong capability in sourcing, analyzing and using information—to learn more about and invest directly in the stock market.
This process led him to focus very successfully on the trends, patterns, common characteristics and opportunities that he has identified for Exceptional Stock Market Performers across selected global stock exchanges.
