About the author


Candice Rowser was a faculty member of the City University of New York, first as a Continuing Education Teacher at LaGuardia Community College in 2008, and later an Adjunct Assistant Professor. During her decade of service to CUNY, she taught college level courses at campuses including Kingsborough Community College, Hunter College, and Bronx Community College. Dr. Rowser briefly served as an instructor at other institutions in the New York metropolitan area including the State University of New York, Westchester Community College; St. John's University, and Fordham University. The wide range of courses she has taught include: World History, World Politics, African History, African-American History, European History, American Government, and Politics of Economics.
