Sonja Burrus is a transformational coach and public speaker certified by the John Maxwell team. She is exercising her passion to equip business professionals, women, and the youth with a proven leadership development system to help them innovate and create pathways of discovery and empowerment.
Miss Burrus currently resides near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Management and Organizational Development from Eastern University in St. David's, Pennsylvania. Her undergraduate degree was obtained from Gwynedd Mercy College. She has spent much of her business career in leadership roles for nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Her previous Board experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for an organization in Delaware that speaks to homelessness, a Board member of a local Performing Arts Company; the President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Black MBA Association; and the Economic Development Committee for the Black Women's Leadership Council in Philadelphia. Miss Burrus has also owned and operated several businesses. She currently serves as a Notary Public and Signing Agent in Pennsylvania
Sonja is also a drama artist, singer/songwriter, violinist, and choreographer. She has lived most of her life reinventing herself through her passions. With each transformation, she has evolved into yet another beautiful, black, powerful woman. By faith and through perseverance, she is gifted by God to help others to do the same.
