Description
Dennell and Gareth Phillips continue their lives from the books "Troublesome Inheritance" and Dennell's Dilemmas". In this book they live in various places, such as Colorado, New York, Miami, and Ecuador. Gareth needs to decide if his career as a singer and Broadway star is more important to him than being with his family. Dennell continues to have concerns about how to give her inheritance to charities and how to give of herself, to her family, her charities, her friends, the ranch, her church, and her marriage. Several of her friends get married and have babies. She also continues to keep a hand in running the ranch in Colorado. Two couples that are close friends of Gareth and her go to Ecuador to become missionaries and she becomes immersed in their lives there. She and Gareth visit Ecuador and while there, a large volcano erupts. This creates many problems for her friends that are there as missionaries and for the people of Ecuador. It becomes necessary for them to establish a new town for the poverty stricken people that they are helping. Dennell helps with this, both monetarily and physically. Her twins are growing and her son becomes rather a problem. She deals with several problems in Colorado such as helping a girl who has been raped and is pregnant, a worker on her ranch who is gay, her foreman on the ranch who has an accident and is injured rather badly. Through all of this, she works to keep her marriage intact and her relationship with God strong.
