About The Author

JOHNNA MURREY is a motivational speaker. She is passionate about helping others. She is a voice for those who need help finding their voice. As the daughter of pastors, she grew up deeply rooted in giving to communities and to people in need. She is a mental health advocate. With a passion for motivating others, in 2013, she pursued a degree in communication studies. She is a loving mother, having had her daughter in 2014 at the age of 19. She received her bachelor's degree in 2017 in communications and film studies. She has always had a love for writing, so she pursued film studies with aspirations to bring her writings to life. After graduating, Johnna worked as a substitute teacher. She went on to complete three certificates in studies: early childhood teaching 1 in 2018, early childhood teaching 2 in 2019, and a case management certificate in 2020. She worked as a case manager for low-income families and children with disabilities in 2019 before founding her business "Journey With" in 2021. She graduated with her master's degree in 2021 in administration of human services. Johnna coaches, empowers, and strengthens goals for at-risk youth, victims of domestic violence, business planners, and more. She is an author who focuses on self-development. Having gone through struggles firsthand, coupled with her social service experience, she is phenomenal at using her story to encourage others.
