About the author
David Loye is a psychologist, evolutionary systems scientist, and national award-winning author.
For the past twenty years he has been globally involved with other scientists in developing the cutting edge fields of chaos, complexity, and integral theory from the powerful new perspective of evolutionary systems science and his pioneering development of Moral Transformation Theory.
Dr.Loye is a co-founder of two international organizations for the expansion of evolution studies: The General Evolution Research Group, and The Society for Chaos Theory in Psychology and the Life Sciences. A co-founder with his wife and partner—pioneering cultural evolution theorist and well-known author of The Chalice and the Blade, Riane Eisler—of The Center for Partnership Studies (www.partnershipway.org). Founder of The Darwin Project (www.thedarwinproject.com), with a Council of more than 50 progressive American, European, and Asian scientists, educators, and media activists. And founder of the global online Osanto University.com “to speed up evolution of the best in us before the worst in us destroys us.” (www.OsantoUniversity.com).
A former member of the Princeton and UCLA School of Medicine faculties, his reconstruction of Darwin’s long ignored moral-action-oriented completion for his theory of evolution has been hailed as a major contribution to our understanding of evolution (See What the Experts Say, here and at www.davidloye.com).
