In the aftermath, survivors start the long and difficult journey back. The dramatic emergence of struggling communities is shown through the experiences of a young archeologist, two revived cryogenic characters, Messianic Jews, and a array of barbarians.
Description
Darkness to Light is a dystopian sci-fi novel that offers a perspective of humans struggling to survive in the generations after a nuclear and biological conflict. The various characters include a young female Wo archaeologist who during an excavation uncovers a cryogenic frozen man. Beth revives John, and he is brought into a strange new world. The country is called Paradise. Here, women rule and the male species have been reduced to nothing more than sperm donors. Together they journey to the land of Messianic Jews who have maintained the Christian values of their ancestors. Into this mix ,the novel covers an array of various barbarians that represent the worst elements of humankind. Slowly the light begins to shine through the darkness giving humans hope for a better world.
