Overview
Lucky and Led become part of a beautiful journalist's task of writing a critique of their weekend Caribbean cruise. As usual with this duo of cruise companions, they encounter all sorts of excitement not mentioned in the cruise's daily schedule: smuggling; spies; beautiful women; deep sea diving; murder; and, did we mention, that those beautiful women might not be who they say they are? Led will discover this slight of ID soon enough. Will Led get the real heroine in the end? Hmmm, just another reason to read the latest mystery adventure of Lucky and Led.
Description
Lucky and Led join a weekend cruise and find that a local Miami journalist has been assigned to write a cruise critique. Though our journalist is concerned about food and entertainment, the adventure really involves the CIA, smuggling, duplicity of character and a couple of murders. WOW! More than she bargained for. Of course, Lucky and Led step right into the middle of the whole mixed up affair and help to solve the whole mess with the help of a long time acquaintance, the Chief Inspector of Security, Sanjay Mehta, from their CRUISE TO MAYHEM adventure. Set on the beautiful and exotic island of Grand Cayman, the adventure unfolds when two packages meant to be smuggled onto shore to awaiting members of the Asian Triad, become the focal points of blackmail and murder, Not nice items to be offered on a weekend cruise, but they do offer up an exciting read in CRUISE TO CRITIQUE.
About the author
David P. Remy was born in Iowa a few months before the Pearl Harbor "incident". He attempted to become educated in a variety of learning institutions in Dubuque, IA, Detroit, MI, Washington, D. C., South Orange, NJ and New Orleans, LA. It took a long time, but eventually some of it stuck. He credits his time in New Orleans as the most productive learning from Mardi Gras and the superb restaurants. Up to this time of writing, he's been a pastor, an educator, a drug and alcohol clergy counselor and tucked in the middle of forty-six years of ministry, he served twenty short ones in the U. S. Navy as a chaplain to our courageous Sailors and a "Padre" to our valiant Marines. He proudly adds, "Veteran" to his bio. Late in his life game, he appends "Author" to his resume. He will allow his readers the right to validate that claim. CRUISE TO CRITIQUE is his fifth novel in the LUCKY & LED CRUISE SHIP MYSTERY series. He feels that this one is his most convoluted, surprising mystery story in the series. Of course, there may yet be another Lucky & Led cruise adventure in the future which will top even this one. Retired now, he maintains his residency in the Florida Panhandle where thousands live and millions wish they could. He continues with his substitute ministry in parish churches, military chapels and...his favorite...as a cruise ship Chaplain. He is also the author of IN LOVING PURSUIT, a love story, set in the late 1960's, told in the memoir genre. IN LOVING PURSUIT, as well as the LUCKY & LED CRUISE SHIP MYSTERY series, are available as downloads for your E-Reader devices.
