Description
Sometimes cycling can be very, very bad for you... Cycling pro Romain Mariani is all set for success at the very highest level. But then his world collapses. Haunted by the darkest of obsessions, he begins a descent more terrifying than any he has ever faced on the road. And waiting at the bottom is the awful truth of what he must do to begin the long climb back up. A ride like no other, 'Consumed' features painfully realistic cycling action as well as a cast that includes shadowy drug-dealing doctor Allan Triesmaan, a mysterious tribe of forest people, and Golgotha, a blue-eyed omnivorous feral hog. 'Consumed' inhabits a unique space where Lance Armstrong's 'It's Not About the Bike' meets 'Jekyll and Hyde'.
