About the author
Rev. Eric J. Hall has always felt a call to serve God and to a life of ministry. At the age of 18, he entered the Capuchin Franciscan Friars. While studying for ordination to the Roman Catholic Priesthood, he was actively involved in a wide range of ministry. Ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1996, Eric served at Immaculate Conception Church, Bronx, N.Y. Early in the year 2000, he discerned that God was leading him to leave the Capuchin Franciscan Friars. As authentically as he had followed God's call, he now made a drastic leap of faith. His journey led him ultimately to Eastchester Community Church, a church marked to be closed, where he has been pastor for twenty one years now. His sermons are viewed by thousands weekly on FB, You Tube and TikTok.
At the same time, Rev. Eric J. Hall has led an active life beyond the ministry. He is president and CEO of HealthCare Chaplaincy Network™, a 58-year-old global nonprofit organization whose mission is to advance the integration of spiritual care in health care. Eric is the visionary behind the Spiritual Care Association a multi discipline membership providing cutting edge evidence based training and certification for chaplains, nurses, social workers, first responders, military personnel and more. Eric has recently become president and chancellor of CAPSTONE university out of Tacoma, Washington.
