Charles Arthur Blount is an LA based personal trainer and fitness entrepreneur from Mississippi. The son of a colorful Southern attorney, Charles wrote poems for his father based on his Southern sayings, leading to the creation of his first children's book "How the Horse Ate the Apple". Setting out to create these books for his poems, Charles discovered Pedro du Buf, a European artist who has been able to perfectly capture the essence of the stories. Charles formed Southern Charm Books as a way to produce and showcase children's books with Southern themes.
