About the author

Meah K. Tweh (1985-) was born in Detroit, Michigan, in a two-parent household. Growing up as the daughter of a Liberian immigrant, and a Pittsburgh native, Meah had a colorful upbringing as she learned about her rich African ancestry. Growing up with an abundance of artistic inspiration around her, she has grown into a creative spirit. Meah is an alumna of Detroit's award-wining Renaissance High School (2003) and is also an alumnus of Michigan's only urban public research university, Wayne State University (2008).
