In the beginning, that is what Deke McCoy did despite several unexplained miracles to prove that the person making the offer was not joking. Lugenia Lynn Lightle was born April 21, 1960 and grew up in a small town south of Columbus, Ohio and started writing stories at the age of ten. She would cast her cousins as characters so she could see her stories acted out. Her favorite place to write was a loft over her parents' garage. Lugenia continued writing until she graduated high school then put writing aside to get married and raise a family. When her youngest daughter asked her to make up stories at bedtime, Lugenia started writing them down.
