About the author
Carl Richardson began preaching the gospel of Jesus at the age of 15. Now, more than 50 years later, he is still preaching with the same drive and the same anointing.
His passion for the gospel has taken him around the world many times over; ministering in over one hundred countries. He has preached to gatherings of 30, crowds of 30,000 and once spoke to 3 million people in a large valley in South Africa.
His inexhaustible energy, his ability to share his vision and build effective teams, and some would say, his "Godly stubbornness," were instrumental in the planting of hundreds of life-giving churches throughout the world, culminating with the opening up of new regions for the gospel in Russia and China.
This same enthusiasm and his skillful, focused sermons, made him a natural for radio and television. For over a decade he was the speaker for the Church of God radio program, "Forward In Faith", and propelled the broadcast from 120 stations to over 500 stations. His current program, "Oasis", is heard worldwide on radio and on the Internet.
From 1974 through the late 1980's, Carl hosted several national "prime-time" TV specials and two weekly TV series, including the groundbreaking "Goin' Places."
A member of the National Religious Broadcasters Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board for several international charities for many years, an author, a significant visionary, a loyal mentor and partner to hundreds of ministers throughout the world, Carl Richardson now shares, in the pages of this book, many of his insights gained through difficult circumstances, painful opposition and determined perseverance.
You'll find it to be a bounty of spiritual wisdom, salted with personal experience, from a man who continues to run the race he began as a teenager with urgency and certainty.
