Description

Meet Tommy, a relatable boy with a limb difference, and his imaginary inner superhero, Captain Problem Solver. Tommy faces some different struggles than other children, but he tackles everyday challenges with the help of his heroic partner in perseverance. One day, Tommy plans to sport his cool new lace-up sneakers – only to find that even the seemingly invincible Captain Problem Solver cannot solve every problem! When faced with failure, Tommy refuses all offers of help, until a free-spirited friend inspires him to shift his mindset. Can Tommy learn to accept temporary setbacks and regain Captain Problem Solver's can-do attitude? This charming, imaginative picture book is an empowering read for anyone with a disability, and it encourages young readers to see the opportunity in obstacles, broaden their understanding of success, and embrace their inner superhero. "CPS is a good-looking book. Just excellent to look at, Illustrations, format, etc. It is extremely well done. Parents will absolutely love how the book looks, and they will buy it." - James Burd Brewster, author of the "Glad to do it!" Series.
