Having lived with in the Lancaster County Pennsylvania Amish community for over 20 years, Martin has a unique perspective on the simplistic life of the Amish community. He has shod horses as a professional farrier for 40 years and brings a special view of the horse community from that life time of experience. He also had Amish landlords and friends over two decades. Martin is probably has one of the best perspectives available to write a story about the simple folks of Lancaster County.
