Between Human Imagination & Nihilism

This book analyzes how imagination, nihilism, and the human condition create the meaning and purpose of life.

This book presents an analysis of how we are between what our imagination creates and nihilism, which is the non-existence of everything. The author explores science, religion, and philosophy as solutions to the meaning and purpose of life as well as the ideologies they create. The unique faculty of imagination in homo sapiens is part of the development of cognitive abilities throughout history, and any reality is an integration of experiences and imagination we create. Human experience is that we are in a Reality Between Human Imagination and Nihilism.

Kenneth Benelli was born in 1953 in Sebastopol, California on a 20-acre apple ranch with first-generation Catholic parents from Italy and Spain. He grew up working on a farm and spent his youth protesting the Vietnam War and draft but finally working in Silicon Valley as an Engineering Technician. His later professional career included ministry, radio and television, mission work, and bus driving. He still resides in Santa Rosa as a retiree and self-educated philosopher.
