A Riveting Read! Being Humans was a compelling read! Laced with fine storytelling, it included a surprising amount of useful information for understanding myself and others better. This straight-shooting portrait of the author's harrowing childhood illustrated her guide Aralamb's life lessons. Though chaos and fear were daily occurrences, she quietly survived her mother's brand of crazy, drug-fueled abuse. She survived, and then beat the odds by thriving. The unexpected fruit of her childhood's dark gift is this book. I appreciated her "there-are-no-victims" stance, and her remarkable ability to extract useable wisdom from some terrifying experiences. If you're seeking to make the most of your life, to spend your one, short, fabulous life in the most enlightened way, to learn about connecting with your own spirit guide, and to gain insight about what happens after this life, Being Humans is an important book to read. Highly recommend! Read more
