About the author
Beatrice Taylor Moore presides in North Carolina. She is a former educator who loves American history especially African American history. Growing up in rural North Carolina inspired her love of reading and imagining the places and people she would eventually write about. Beatrice received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She majored in Radio, Television and Motion Pictures. After working in television productions for several years, she completed the Teacher Certification Program at Shaw University and transitioned to education and taught history in Raleigh, NC. Beatrice is involved in her church community and volunteers with a program that encourages young ladies to reach their full potential. She enjoys writing, being with her family and traveling with her husband, Richard.
