About the author
Warren Holston has worked throughout the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and defense industry for more than 30 years. He wrote the poems of Asylum in the Mind and Peace in Darkness over several decades of extensive travel to more than 84 countries as he served in Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the U.S. Special Operations Command. The poems are based on a lifetime of experiences with dozens of cultures, religions, and belief systems both in peace and war. Mr. Holston is the author of the personal security book Beware the Predator and lectures extensively on the application of personal tradecraft in a digital world.
