Description
"An Indian Irish Kiwi" begins with Beatrice Grove's family history in Ireland, her birth and childhood in India. From there, she goes on to pursue further education in Scotland and Ireland. Her working life is just as varied, including the Arts in Ireland, medical administration in New Zealand, and travel facilitation in India.
About the author
Beatrice Grove was born in India to Irish Missionary parents and educated in India up to the British "O" level. She then studied in Scotland and Ireland before starting work with the Arts Council of Northern Ireland where she progressed from being a book-keeper to General Manager of the Ulster Orchestra. Itchy feet then took her to New Zeland and the Symphonia of Auckland until its demise. She married a Kiwi, settled in New Zealand and moved into medical administration rising from Ward Clerk to Medical Personnel Manager. Introducing her husband to India and his subsequent love for that country led them to taking tour groups. Since her husband's death she has spent considerable parts of each year in India helping people to see more of that amazing country.
